Wahoo!
March 27, 2020
I was pretty excited this week to realize I was actually earning money. Definitely not serious money, still under $20, but it is a start. I spent more on advertising than I earned, but again, it is a start. I never have actually seen my add, but I guess someone is.
I am learning more about social media than I ever knew. I thought it was a way to keep up with friends and family. I never thought about it as a platform for advertising, but I am willing to give it a try.
There are a lot of people who know how to use social media to get their business where they want it to be. I am not one of those people at...yet. There is so much available potential.
I am also learning a lot about social distancing. More than I wanted to know. I listened to a YouTube speaker today that gave me hope and some better understanding about Corona virus. 1) Our bodies are good and can become immune to viruses if we give them what they need and stay positive. 2) Only good can come from following the healthy rules of washing hands and social distancing. 3) Although things will never go back to exactly what they were, this pandemic will pass, we will be able to be with friends and family again. 4) Remember social distancing is not the same as social isolation. We can still talk to our friends and families, we can video chat, and we can even write letters. Wouldn't that be kind of fun to start doing that again. I love thinking of my grandchildren being able to experience the excitement of getting a letter in the mail from someone besides grandma. I am tending some of them tomorrow, maybe I will have them write themselves and their cousins a letter and put it in the mail. Postage at $.55 a letter is a lot cheaper than tickets to a movie or a fun park. It seems we will be experiencing this for a while longer. But, this to shall come to pass.
