Trusting the pro

January 30, 2020

I reworked the web business decision matrix spreadsheet this week.  I tried all kinds of words on Google Adds to find some good results for the business I really wanted to do. But, no matter how many things I tried, I couldn't get results and scores that showed the business I really wanted to do could be successful.

At first I thought I would do it anyway, then I decided I should trust those who have studied and learned about having a successful business.  I like this quote from Idowu Koyenikan, “If you quit on the process, you are quitting on the result.” (Wealth for All: Living a Life of Success at the Edge of Your Ability). After I learn the process, if I still am interested, maybe I could try another business.  In the meantime, I will do as instructed and trust I will have good results.

I got a domain name - that was fun when I finally found an available name and disappointing when I realized all of my first choices were taken!  But, I found a domain name I can live with and I think fits the criteria I was given.  I downloaded WordPress and got it set up to start.  Later this week, after it is online, I will start updating and improving it. (I got a coupon for the host site so it was less expensive. I loved that.)

Now that I have made the decision and started moving forward with this project I am feeling better about the business that scored the highest.  I am not going to let you know what it is until I  have the website prepared so you can see.  (At least not on this blog.)
