In the beginning…

Although I thought I knew quite a bit about computer and internet, the more I learn the more I realize I don’t know much. There have been so many advances during my life time. I remember as a child, when my family got a color television instead of black and white. We thought color television and transistor radios were amazing! Later, as an adult, I volunteered to teach computer in the elementary school where my oldest child was in Kindergarten. The school was so excited to have four computers. A “computer lab” was created, run by the volunteers, so children could take turns coming in to play math and reading games and become more comfortable with computers.

Now, I am learning it is possible to completely run a business over the web. For someone who is close to an age where retirement is looking good, this seems like a blessing. It seems it may be possible to retire from going to work and still have an income. What an adventure life is.
